Why I started Writing - Ash V

Why did I start writing- As a child, my only getaway from reality was to write and create. It helped me pen down my struggles and my surroundings’ struggles into a story. That way it could create a connection and help others with the same struggles. I love telling stories that would inspire and help someone. Stories make people connect. Stories build an imagination. It’s what I had loved about reading.

It gave me the ability to feel and understand a character’s journey. How human it is to feel, break, and rise up again. The fights one has to endure, the love that is received and lost. Shame and pain that one has to carry. There is much in human life that a lot of great people have endured reaching greatness. Stories help to translate that journey in many different ways.

Turn Real Events from Your Life into a Work of Fiction - A person’s life experience can carry much depth, despair, recuperation, and magnificence if they look back at how much they carried and still kept going. We connect through experiences generally and how we incorporate those experiences into helping as well as encouraging people also matters. Not every experience is meant to be just for ourselves. Sometimes we cross paths with people who need to hear our story. Who needs someone to understand the pain they’ve been carrying all alone, for a very long time?

Creative writing during COVID-19 -
When I wrote my first and currently only book. I was unsure if I could even complete it as it took me 3 years to finish it through all the procrastinating and many issues that happened. God was good to me. COVID struck and when that happened I was at home for a long time having the best focus to finally complete it. I hope this book will be a blessing though it’s imperfectly created.

Basically, I write to inspire, I write to connect and in hopes that a story can even save a life. It is a calling to write and to write what makes sense.
